Amex C08
Goods or services not received, or only partly received
The cardmember says the goods or services never arrived, or only part of the order did. American Express reads proof of supply against the order: tracking with a delivered status, or a dated access or service record. A partial delivery needs the order lines set against what was sent.
The evidence this code accepts
- 1
Carrier and tracking number
The reader verifies delivery independently.
- 2
Ship date and delivery date
Shows supply happened, and when.
- 3
Carrier status now
Delivered is the finding you need.
- 4
Signature or delivery photo
The strongest single item where one exists.
- 5
The order lines against what was shipped
Answers the partly-received version of this code.
- 6
Access or service record, for anything not shipped
The delivery equivalent for digital goods.
Where sellers lose this one
- They prove one parcel was delivered and the dispute was about the second item.
- Status is in transit rather than delivered.
